LIL FANART

don't eat the candy

; __ ; i really loved the demo the aes was so cute.. i cant wait to see more!!

Hello! I played your demo on my channel. It took me some time to realize the puzzles, but I eventually got it! Playing this really gave me nostalgia of other rpg horror games I've played in the past. Can't wait to see more of the game when it is fully released!

Oh Wow! Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad that you're looking forward to its official release! I hope you enjoy it too when it happens.

Okay, the hints were enough to help me figure out the puzzle. Finally able to finish the demo! Madeleine and the prince makes a nice duel in the story. Not sure about bleeding jelly is... gore but there is definitely the feel when you enter a room with rotten candy smell. Imagine if they aren't candy lol. Would love the play the full version when it comes out!

Oh! Thank you for playing the game! I'm glad you're looking forward to the finished version too! We'll be working on finishing the game as soon as we can, while also polishing up the parts you've seen.  The candy gore warning at the beginning is to just be safe. We don't want to upset anyone who doesn't want to see that, even if we never get extreme with the gore.

The game has great atmosphere and I really loved playing it! I actually screamed at one part of it lol. 8D

Having issues on the books riddle/puzzle too, the book cover doesn't match with the bookshelf genre when putting them in "the right" place.

Yellow book (Planet) matches with Blue bookshelf (Astrology) both being space themed.

Blue book (Knife & Fork) matches with Red bookshelf (Cooking) both being food related.

Can enter & exit out of the door fine without getting the door being different with the Blue & Yellow book on the Blue & Red bookshelves (one, or the other, or both). Unless this is a bug and you shouldn't be able to exit until you get all of them right.

You'd think the Red book (Flowers) would fit into the Yellow bookshelf (Gardening) as they're both horticulture related. Unfortunately this isn't the case and the door changes to the never ending death sequence.

Pink door (Candy) and the Green bookshelf (Fairy) don't really align, thought Candy at first went with cooking as they're similar. Think this book is the anomaly that you don't put in place as it's not thematically correct for any of the book shelves asides the Red bookshelf.

Thank you & hope there's another angle to this bookshelf puzzle that the community isn't able to look at to make this puzzle possible to solve. :)

Oh! Thank you for informing me about the red  book and the yellow bookshelf (that's actually not supposed to happen. I'll have to update that. Yikes.)

As for another angle, you're right. There is a another angle for this puzzle. Truthfully I hadn't thought it would be that difficult but well. I'm the one who made it and knows the answer already...

I will say that all the books do have a spot to be placed in, but not all of them have to go on a bookshelf.

Same as Bubbleknight here, I’ve tried different combinations but I still can’t get it right.  Silly me! >< Really lovely demo so far by the way, cute graphics and character interactions, and the little details in the environment are so creative! That MC joke was funny hehe. And it’s nice to see you again after your Tear demo! I hope you’re doing well in these times. ^^

thank you! We worked really hard on this demo. And yes I'm doing well. ^^ Without giving away the answer for the book puzzle though: Putting the books in the right place may not mean matching them up by color. Read the descriptions of both the books and the bookshelves to see where they go. And not all the books have to be placed in the spot in the bookshelves.

I couldn't get the book puzzle right? There are 4 books, green, pink, red, and blue. I placed each according their description but the last one... pink book has a candy on it's cover so I placed it in the green book shelves. Got them wrong every time! I try matching the color but nope! A little help here? Thanks!

Oh gosh I'm sorry! i didn't think the first would be that hard to figure out!  Well I guess that's the good thing about demos, getting this kind of feedback. Without giving away the answer: Putting the books in the right place may not mean matching them up by color. Read the descriptions of both the books and the bookshelves to see where they go. And not all the books have to be placed in the spot in the bookshelves.

I'll give another try! Thank you.
